Vertical Gallery

Vertical Gallery is an excellent image gallery app that basically offers an upgraded version of the legendary gallery app included by default on Android 4.4 (KitKat) devices. The result is a lightweight, smooth gallery with all the features you could ask for to manage your photos.

The design of Vertical Gallery is the usual: two columns with all your image folders, in order of last modification, meaning normally you'll have the photos from your camera in the first spot. Within each folder are thee photo columns that are also order by last modification. Just tap a photo to open it and see it enlarged.

Upon opening the photo you can access a ton of very interesting editing tools. You can crop the image, resize it, adjust the white balance, improve the contrast, add a photo frame, and even use a filter. In fact, in Vertical Gallery you'll find more than a dozen different filters, which you can apply with just a tap. If you like how a filter looks you just have to save the changes and you'll create a new photo in your gallery.

Vertical Gallery is an excellent Android gallery app offering one of the best (and most lightweight) alternatives to the stock galleries that come installed on Android devices. From the options menu you can easily customize the general look of the interface to leave it exactly how you like it.
